ICHIBAN FOODS SHARING BUSINESS SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES

June 18, 2025, at the Sheraton Saigon Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City,
Conference themed “Sustainable Solutions with U.S. Soy,” the two-day event brought together a diverse gathering of government officials, U.S. agricultural representatives, corporate leaders, and food industry stakeholders. The program underscored three decades of agricultural collaboration between the United States and Vietnam in the areas of food security, sustainability, and responsible sourcing.
The ceremony was organized by the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) prominent figures including Mr. Hoang Trung, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of Vietnam, and Mr. Ralph Bean, Minister Counselor at the Foreign Agricultural Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Mr. Jim Martin, Director of the American Soybean Association, and Mr. Timothy Loh, USSEC’s Regional Director for Southeast Asia and Oceania.
In a keynote session, Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh, Chairman of the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD), highlighted Vietnam’s sustainability goals and the critical role of public-private partnerships in fostering resilient food systems.
Mr. Sombat Onniam, Managing Director of Thai Corp International Group (TCIG), was officially invited to speak on behalf of ICHIBAN FOODS Co. Ltd, sharing the company’s journey and best practices in sustainable food manufacturing. His participation highlighted the company’s leadership as an FDI enterprise to implemented business sustainable growth in Vietnam.
Key message from Mr. Sombat Onniam to mention in his speech: “This is not only a commercial relationship, but also a long-term strategic partnership built on trust, consistent quality, and shared values for a healthier, more sustainable future.”
